Our Process

Relationships Matter. Integrity Matters. That's why they're at the heart of our process.

We look forward to working with you!

Every project has its own unique needs, and we strive to tailor our process to make your vision happen. To learn more about our process, our values, and our results, please feel free to contact our office.

Give Us a Call

During your initial phone call, we discuss the nature of your project and connect you with one of our project managers for a time to meet. The project manager will guide your project from planning through construction. We believe a single point of contact provides the best value from start to finish.

In-Person Meeting

Your project manager visits your home to walk the space, discuss your vision, and evaluate existing conditions. This enables the project manager better understand your home and your priorities for the project. We gather measurements and identify structural considerations in order to develop a realistic scope and preliminary budget.

Preliminary Scope / Budget & Design

After our site visit, we draft a preliminary scope and flexible budget that evolves with design and material choices. To reduce costs for our customers, we do not offer in‑house architectural or design services but connect you with trusted architects and designers from our network or collaborate with the professionals you’ve already selected. Once plans are finalized, we review them and recommend adjustments for constructability, efficiency, and budget alignment.

Detailed Proposal

Next, we prepare a detailed proposal outlining the budget, scope, and full construction process—from demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical, finishes, and completion. Most proposals take one to four weeks, depending on complexity of the project. Our priority is accuracy and clarity to minimize surprises and reduce unforeseen change orders during construction.

Selections & Permits

Upon proposal approval, we begin the permit process and coordinate material selections. To keep costs down and maintain flexibility, we do not have a showroom. Instead, we connect you with trusted suppliers and vendors to select fixtures, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, lighting, and other finish materials.

Project Execution

Once permits are approved and selections are finalized, construction can begin. The same project manager who prepared your proposal oversees the work, coordinates subcontractors, communicates progress, and ensures the project reflects the approved plans and budget. Before construction starts, we review logistics such as material storage, dust protection, home access, and pet safety.

Punchlist

As we near the end of your project, your project manager works with you to create a “punch list” of any outstanding items or quality concerns. We create a plan to correct any inadequacies so the work meets the scope and our high standards.

Warranty

We offer a one-year workmanship warranty. All manufacturers’ warranties for materials transfer to the owner upon completion.
